Bill and Barbara hiking down from the White Rocks Overlook

Incredible waterfall at Sand Cave

John and Steve below the waterfall

Steve hiking into the massive Sand Cave, it is much like walking on the beach

Steve looking out of Sand Cave, notice the sand flying around his  feet

Ladders ease the efforts up and down  Sand Cave Trail

Water source behind Martin Forks Cabin (campsite night 1) Yikes, we definitely used our iodine tabs!

John, Bill and Barbara getting water right below the "Purify" sign!

Martins Fork Camping Area, the "front lawn" of the Cabin (our tent has the turquoise rain fly)

Martins Fork Cabin.  Rentable for $10/Night

Beverly's not so artsy photo titled  "Peering Into the Schoolhouse Windows with Hikers Visible on the Window Pane"

Taking a break at the Schoolhouse Picnic Table (from left Steve, Will, Ron, John and Diane)

Lige Gibbons Farm

Interesting support for the chimney on the Lige Gibbons Farm House, not to mention the foundation support

Sunlight streaming in the Lige Gibbons Barn, another attempt at an "Artsy Photo"

Lige Gibbons Farm outhouse.  Yes, that is Shillalah Creek running behind the outhouse

Will, Steve and Ron exploring the Lige Gibbons Farm.  The small building on the left is the henhouse, on the right is the  corncrib

An incredible view looking back  toward the fields of Hensley Settlement

Willie Gibbons Farm buildings.  The chimney is all that is left of the farmhouse.

Eating lunch at Indian Rock (from left, John, Barbara and Steve)

A thoughtful Ron sitting under Indian Rock

John standing by a rock formation just past Indian Rock

The beauty of the Ridge Trail never failed to amaze us.  Steep drop offs on both sides as the trail follows the ridge line.

Table Rock.  " 'Nuff said"

Leaving Gibson Gap on a very cold 3rd Morning. (From left, Steve, Ron, John with Barbara in Front)

A spectacular view from the Pinnacle

A very cold and tired Beverly at trail's end !!! :-)
